This picture was taken a few months after my husband and I were married in 2004. We were in Rio Rancho, New Mexico at the time. Those are the Sandia Mountains in the background, on the other side of Corrales and the Rio Grande.
My husband and I are sick right now. I believe it’s some kind of flu. We have both been sick for days and we are really tired of it. But even with being sick, we know how blessed we are to be together and we are so grateful.
Thank you for stopping by. God bless and Merry Christmas!
When I was about 5 years old, my parents volunteered me to be part of a live outdoor nativity scene in front of the electric power company where my dad worked.
I remember how miserably cold and uncomfortable it was, standing perfectly still in the frosty night air for what seemed like hours, under the glare of blinding spotlights. But the worst part was how disappointed I felt, because they would not let me be Mother Mary. I wanted to be Mary so bad, I almost could not stand it!
But alas, with my curly blonde hair, it was a given that I had to be an angel. 😀
