Prayer Request: Granddaughter Sarah, sick with covid-19, is now in labor – UPDATED

Sarah tested positive for covid-19 on June 11, which was her due date. She has been very sick since then, with high fevers, shortness of breath, non-stop vomiting, and dehydration. This morning she went into labor.

Thank you all, SO MUCH, for your encouraging words and prayers. ((HUGS)) ❤ ❤

*****UPDATE: Sarah had a healthy 8 pound boy!

Congratulations. Will be praying for Sarah’s complete recovery from COVID and from the birth. Praying for you and your husband as well that the Lord will keep you in His peace. Will also pray for your husband’s radiation treatment to be successful. God bless you.

Thank you! As of two days ago, Sarah is feeling much better. Her fever is gone and her lungs are now back to normal. Thank the Lord!

However, there is a whole new issue regarding Sarah and her three children, that needs prayer. A day or two after Sarah had the new baby, the child protection people with the state of Arizona came to her hospital room to interview her. Someone had apparently called them, saying they believe Sarah is not a fit mother. They would not allow Sarah to be discharged from the hospital with the baby, until they had checked out her home to make sure it is safe for children. The child protection people want to interview my stepdaughter, Sarah’s mom, and my husband, when they bring the 4-year-old and 10-month-old back to Sarah, and they will continue to monitor Sarah and the children for a time.

I am very glad that child protection is doing this, because there are indeed some serious problems that I am aware of, especially concerning the father of these children. We want what is best for Sarah, but most of all, we want the best for these defenseless little ones. More than anything, I am praying that God’s will be done.
