Please pray for my granddaughter. I don’t use real names on my blog, so I will just give you her initials, B.E.S. She works as a security guard and is now home on sick leave. She has an 8 year old son who is healthy right now, I’m praying he doesn’t get this. His initials are C.S. Also, my oldest son lives with them, he is my granddaughter’s father, and I pray he doesn’t catch covid. His initials are M.S. They live in California.

I have seen some amazing miracles in answer to prayers in my lifetime. That’s why I am asking for prayers now. My husband is undergoing radiation treatment for prostate cancer and is having some miserable side effects from that. And to top it all off, I badly wrenched my neck and right shoulder a couple of hours ago and the pain is extreme. But more than anything, I want everyone in my family to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior and to be made healthy.

I found a starving, badly emaciated dog on the highway last Wednesday and brought her home. So now we have three rescues. I was going to write an in-depth humorous post, complete with pictures, about how our family is going to the dogs. But writing on my tablet is really hurting my shoulder and neck right now. Sigh… I don’t have time to be injured, I have too much to do! Like taking care of my husband while he goes through 44 radiation treatments, and potty training and cleaning up after this darling little dog.. while giving extra love and attention to our other two rescue dogs, so they don’t feel jealous. Anyway, pictures and funny fur baby stories will have to wait a bit.

I had the best, emotionally healing telephone conversation with my daughter earlier today. We talked 2 hours and 49 minutes, until her phone died. So even in the midst of all my pain and concern for my granddaughter and my husband, I am so grateful. It’s a mixed bag of blessings, you know? Life is hard sometimes, really hard. But life is also an incredible, amazing, wonderful gift. I am so grateful for this great gift of life!
