Illness Changes Personality and Behavior — CynthiaBaileyRug

Thank you so much for your prayers. My husband is undergoing 44 radiation treatments for prostate cancer, at the rate of one every day, Monday through Friday, with the weekends off. He has had 8 treatments so far. The last treatment will be June 14. He has to drive 110 miles each way to his treatments. Luckily, he loves to drive, says it relaxes him.

As for me, I have recently reinjured an old neck injury. Lots of pain and my right hand keeps going numb. I will see my doctor tomorrow morning, and she will probably give me a referral to the Spine Institute, which is also 110 miles away. We live in a rural area, so almost everything is far away.

What you wrote in your post about illness and injury causing personality and behavior changes is so true. And your advice about how to deal with that is spot on. ((HUGS))

Thank you for the update! I’ve been thinking about you two 🙂

So sorry about your neuropathy 😦 That is a miserable feeling.

220 miles in a day?! Oy! I, too, love to drive and find it relaxing, but, man!

Keep us posted. Thoughts to and prayers for you both! ❤
