Three Deaths in One Week

My precious Aunt B. died unexpectedly on Monday.
My daughter’s boyfriend’s father died Friday.
My stepdaughter’s father-in-law, the beloved other grandpa of three of my husband’s grandchildren, a good man who — like my husband — was also a Vietnam combat veteran, died today.

I just saw this on Mitch Teemley’s blog:

look-up

“Remember, I am with you always — until the very end of time.”
~Matthew 28:20

My sincere condolences. Surely, they are now home in glory, their suffering and sorrows behind them.

As always, you are in our prayers. Your daughter’s boyfriend’s father was the one with bacterial pneumonia, was he not?

Yes, he had both bacterial pneumonia and covid-19. The way everything played out, it appears that he caught the coronavirus, while he was in the hospital being treated for pneumonia.

With two trips to the ER within a month, we have talked about that.

I’m so sorry to hear of all this loss. I’ll do both the least and the most that I can do: pray. I pray for the comfort of all who are affected by these losses. May the One who provides love, comfort and protection in the darket of hours do what He does best.

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

You and your hubby are in my prayers Linda Lee, deep breaths, one day at a time and heavy on the time alone with God in prayer. Blessings.
