Good news and sad news, all on the same day

The good news is that my daughter and her boyfriend do not have covid-19. That is to say, the test came back negative. Thank you, everyone, who responded with such love to my post asking for prayer.

The sad news is that my aunt died today. She was only a few years older than me. She was beautiful and brilliant. She has been an important part of my life, for most of my life. I believe she is now in a far better place, joyfully reunited with precious loved ones that have gone on before.

But I miss her. So much.

    What a blessing to get the negative test results in regard to your daughter and her family. May God continue to heal all of the others infected.

    I am so sorry that your beloved aunt passed away. My heart breaks for you, I can feel the depth of your pain in your post.
    May our Lord God wrap you up in His loving arms, and give you His abundant peace, care, and comfort.
    I’ll continue to pray for you and your family.

    I’m so sorry to hear about your aunt ❤ No doubt she is in a better place, but it still hurts.

    I, too, would love to hear more about her when / if you are up to it.

    What a blessing about your daughter and her boyfriend's test results! I hope they are fully healed and back to themselves again soon.

    Prayers for for the Lord’s healing for your hurting heart along with praises about your daughter and son-in-law. He is our hope and knowing you’ll see your aunt again hopefully brings some comfort.

    So sorry to hear about the loss of your aunt. The knowledge that she was a believer is reason for rejoicing, even in pain. I rejoice with you in both cases.

    I’m so sorry for your (temporary) loss, but glad she is with Jesus and you can look forward to seeing her again, although it can be so hard to wait! 😦
