Thank you, Rosa Parks

Sixty-four years ago today, Rosa Parks started a movement.

I am old enough to remember “Whites Only” signs. My paternal grandfather, who could “pass for white,” ran away from his black family at the age of twelve to escape the evil Jim Crow segregation laws.

We are all brothers and sisters, created by God, made in His image. I am grateful to Rosa Parks.
