It’s Official, Spring is Here! (My first YouTube video)

I took this very short video clip last week, on March 23. I heard the musical sound of the ice cream truck, grabbed my phone and ran to the front door as it drove by. That’s it, it’s officially spring here in New Mexico!

If ice cream trucks were a part of your childhood, be sure to turn up the sound. It will take you right back! Hopefully it will bring back some good memories. 😊

    Congrats on your happy making first you tube video. Yes! Ice cream bars from the truck were an occasional treat during my childhood and running to stop the musical truck is one of my earliest happy memories! Thank you for this!

      Yes, that’s what I thought, it sounds like the same song from my childhood.

      We didn’t have any ice cream trucks in the small Missouri town where I grew up. But when I was visiting my great grandmother in Springfield, during the warmer months of the year, an ice cream truck would come by her house in the early evening, playing that song. And my grandmother would give me some coins so I could buy myself something frozen to eat.

      This was well over fifty years ago. Actually, closer to sixty years ago!
