Makes your mouth water, doesn’t it? Alas, I won’t be getting a real box of chocolates this year. My husband saw my post and said “I’m sorry, I didn’t buy you any chocolate. I thought you didn’t want me to.” He’s right, I have been trying to avoid sweets lately. Sigh 😣

It’s the thought that counts? Hehe. Hubby and I spent the day getting xray, mri, and doctors visits. I told him it was certainly a Valentine’s to remember. Hahaha He said he was so sorry. I laughed and told him at least I got him something. He said, what’d you get me? I busted out laughing told him…. an mri hahaha πŸ™‚

I hope and pray that everything turns out okay for you and your husband! In the past couple of months, we have had a lot of medical tests and surgeries, etc, in our family. So far, things are turning out remarkably well!

That is such a blessing to hear Linda. Thanking God for being with you and your family.

Hubby has back issues. Bulging and herniated disc. He is most of the time ok but the Sunday before Valentine’s day, he couldn’t get out of bed. He is much better this week. Thank you for asking and your prayers πŸ™‚

I’m sorry, Margaret. I meant to reply to this comment yesterday but got distracted by something. Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that I said a prayer for your husband’s back. I know how painful and crippling that can be. After xrays and MRIs, I was told 19 years ago that I had degenerative disc disease and that all but the top two discs in my neck were either badly herniated or gone altogether, plus I had two herniated discs in my sciatic region. I also had bone spurs all down the entire length of my spine on both sides, and a large bony overgrowth on my spine at the base of my neck, where my body had apparently tried to heal an old neck injury.

My doctor referred me to a surgeon, but ultimately I was told that spinal fusion, which was all they did back then for herniated discs, was out of the question in my case, because they would have to fuse my entire neck.

I was also told that I would probably need to be in a wheelchair before too long.

Long story short: I started taking the powerful antioxidant grape seed extract every day, which I still take, plus doing very gentle, delicate stretching exercises, and I started walking outdoors every day, or at the mall during bad weather. I would walk as far as my pain would allow me to, which wasn’t far at all, at first.

Today, going on twenty years later, my neck and back pain is minimal to non existent most days, and I can walk for miles without a problem. Put me in a wheelchair? Ha, they will have to catch me first! I give God all the credit for guiding me in the ways that would help my spine to heal.

Praise God Linda! I love, “they’ll have to catch me first” Amen! I am so happy our Good LORD has given you relief. Hubby does all you described, walking, streching BUT the grapeseed extract we didn’t know about. You and him seem to be in the same boat. His has been this way for 20 years. I appreciate you sharing with me.

As for the reply no worries my friend and thank you for your prayers πŸ™‚
