Thank you! What you said made me smile.

The big dog, Baby, a mystery mix that my stepdaughter and I found wandering the streets in 2016, is constantly in competition with our little poodle. We found the poodle, Scrappy, abandoned, injured, and nearly starved, on the highway in 2014. There’s nothing like the love of a rescue dog — or two! πŸ’˜πŸ’˜

Glad I made you smile πŸ™‚ (Now you made ME smile!)

Funny how dogs interact with other pack members. Even in that photo, s/he is on TOP of Scrappy (great name, BTW)!

No kidding about rescue pets. I wouldn’t dream of getting a pet any other way.

Baby is a she. My stepdaughter named her. And I named the poodle Scrappy, because he is!!

I’m glad I made you smile, too. By the way, both of these dogs are lying on me right now as I am tapping my reply on my Fire tablet.

You have serious competition from a soppy pooch and a large red hen, it would seem.

Lol. I tease my husband about his unnatural affection for chickens. But our two rescue dogs will take any lap that is available. Although the big dog, at almost 70 pounds, is a little too much for my lap. 😯
