This picture was taken a few months after my husband and I were married in 2004. We were in Rio Rancho, New Mexico at the time. Those are the Sandia Mountains in the background, on the other side of Corrales and the Rio Grande.
My husband and I are sick right now. I believe it’s some kind of flu. We have both been sick for days and we are really tired of it. But even with being sick, we know how blessed we are to be together and we are so grateful.
Thank you for stopping by. God bless and Merry Christmas!
Great picture! Iβm hope yβall get to feeling better ASAP! Have a blessed Christmas!

Iβm sorry you guys are sick over Christmas itβs not fun at all will definitely pray for you guys. Check out these Bible Verses. βPeace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.β

βThough He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.β

Your Bible verses just made me cry. Those are two of my favorites, especially the one from Job.

Thank you, Denise. I am feeling a bit better than I was yesterday. Yesterday, bending over almost made me pass out. Today, not so much!
Merry Christmas! π

Thank you, my friend. Yes, we are both starting to feel better. And I am so much better than I was yesterday. I suspect that God got tired of listening to me whine. π
I hope you are doing well, or as well as can be expected. The holidays are particularly rough on us trauma survivors. I think that’s why I typically get sick this time of year, whether I have a flu shot or not.

Hm. Yeah could be. My Christmas was quiet. B went to see his family. I was invited but decided to stay home. A bit lonely, but drama free and obligation free. Just how I need it at this time in my life. β€
